SSH errors

Post SSH errors
Hi, I was having trouble starting backup of a machine that had changed
hostname. It wasn't before I restarted backuppc I saw that the reason
was that the host was not verified by ssh so ssh hung, waiting for
backuppc to type yes.

I wouldn't like backuppc to type yes, but is this error handled better
in 2.1.0? Backuppc should be able to see that SSH isn't working and fail
the client with a propper errormessage.

Thanks for a nice client.

Tarjei

Actually, the way to get this to work in a (more) sane way is to modify
the $Conf{TarClientCmd} and friends to pass '-o BatchMode=yes' to ssh.

That will ensure that if exits politely, not hangs, when you are not
there to type in a password or respond to any other sort of prompt.

Er, this possibly should be in the default configuration as well. Smile

Daniel
