Vlad, Thanks for the input. I'm only interested in encrypting the traffic
hence TLS shall it be.

Bacula has ability to use "Master keys" to prevent this unfortunate

Additionally, things really should be backed up off-site.

Master keys are still.. just keys. And can be lost.
I'm not against encrypting backups. If all that is required is
encrypting the traffic, use TLS.
