Maximum Volume Size - Question !

Post Maximum Volume Size - Question !
I have been using Bacula to do backups to Disk (file) for a while now
and I just realized i have configured my Volumes without Volume Size
Restrictions.

I want to set size restrictions on my Volumes to better manage backups
by  adding "Maximum Volume Bytes = 50G " to the volumes configuration file.

Whats the correct way of adding volume size restrictions on my current
volumes and how would they affect my current backups that i have done
already that are in the  pool/volume?

Update your bacula-dir.conf with the new restrictions then test and
reload the config file. To test your changes

bacula-dir -t /etc/bacula-dir.conf

Then to apply the changes

In bconsole

reload

update pool from resource

then

update all volumes in pool

Will adding Maximum Volume Size trigger a full Backup ?

No

Post Maximum Volume Size - Question !
Hi Bryant,
the new configuration will affect only new volumes.
To change maximum size of volumes with append status you need to use update volume bconsole command.
