Post "Connection Reset by Peer" Error message
Hey all,

This always happens repeatedly with only this windows client at 2 hours
and 27 minutes no matter what. The Bacula DIR and SD are on a solaris
10 host and on the same subnet, so there is no firewall timing out.

This problem has been happening repeatedly, even before with bacula
5.0.3 (we recently updated to 5.2.4 and the problem remains).

We have other machines that back up w/o issue with much more data.
We're successfully backing up 40 other hosts, including one other
windows server.

Can anyone help out? I've been stumped for awhile now.

It is just a guess but it seems "something" is happening at 00:00.

I think the default fd connect timeout is 30 minutes. Have you tried to
schedule the job earlier or later than 00:00?

Hey René,

Thanks for the response. I've tried running the job manually during the
day as well. Same failure at 2 hours, 27 minutes.

I should add that the backup seems to run for those 2.5 hours. If I do
a status on the client while it's running it seems to be processing
files. There's about 400GB of data that's supposed to be backed up...
