Post Does Bacula require MySQL locally?
I understand that the libraries are needed to compile support for MySQL into Bacula, but can I configure Bacula to use a MySQL server that isn't on the localhost?

Thank you,
Shon

Yes. You will need to mess with the database creation scripts though,
obviously, as they expect a local database. This should not be too
