Post RHEL 4/5/6 - Fedora 15/16 Bacula RPM repository at 5.2.5
Hello,

I'm updating the repository at version 5.2.5, I introduced a small but SIGNIFICANT change.

Right now, when upgrading, the preference on the backend is lost because I used the versioned soname (libbaccats-5.2.x.so) as the basis for the alternatives.
With this update (5.2.5-1); the base name is the simple shared object name (libbaccats.so); so the preference is preserved upon upgrades to different releases.

So after updating, check the link with the following command and make your selection at the prompt:

# alternatives --config libbaccats.so

I hope this is the last time I made a change like this. I tested cross upgrades between backends and releases and upgrades from f15/f16/rhel6 bacula versions and everything seems ok.

Any question, feel free to ask.

Regards,
