Guys,

We've just done an upgrade from CV8sp5 to CV9SP3b and we've only run
into a couple of problems:

All my Netapp NDMP backups are failing with the error:

Loss of control process BackupNas.exe, probable causes:

So do I need to reboot all my MAs (which are Solaris 10) to get this
running? I can detect and talk to my Netapps just fine. From the
message, I strongly suspect it's something on my CV Master which is
gone wrong. I guess I'll try a reboot there.

Otherwise the upgrade process has been pretty smooth, without any
major problems that I can see.

Turns out to be a bug that CommVault has provided a hotfix for.
Basically, using Solaris 10 on x86_64 in 64bit mode with filtering on
NDMP backups crashes the NasBackup process with a Segmentation Fault.
They obviously weren't handling the 32bit/64bit conversion properly
somewhere.

We're still testing, but things are looking good. I'll post more
details when I have a proper patch/hotfix number.
