Backup Central

I am on simpana 9.0, latest updates. I have 2 VADP Proxy servers backing up about 30 VMs. I have been experiencing major performances issues lately, seem to come out of nowhere. I have about half my jobs still running from last night and these are incremental jobs. Some jobs are at 0.00 GB/HR and others are a little higher. They are just running incredibly slow. I do have a subclient created for each VM to better track my jobs. Has anyone experienced these types of performance issues when backing up virtual machines?

Sounds like this may have reverted to VCB perhaps? Would recommend reading the vsbkp.log to see if that's the case.. worse case open a call with support?

Did you recently patch the host, and are you on SP3 + additional updates, or SP3a?

Chris,
Can you check is it backing up using VCB or VADP, what transport mode is it using? Did you change anything in no of readers at subclient or no of streams at storage policy level? You can check all these in your vsbkp logs
