Content Indexing

Post Content Indexing
I was recently tasked with removing our Content Indexing from our Commvault system. I have to admit, this is my first introduction into Commvault.
We are running Simpana 8.
I have done a little research and it seems that to remove the content indexing all I need to do is Remove the CI Engine. Can anyone verify that for me? Do I need to go through each client computer and remove the "Enable Content Indexing". Do I need to delete the Storage resource?
I see a Web Search Server installed on one of the CI Engines as well, is there anything I need to do with that?

Sorry if the question is vague, as I said, I am a Commvault noob.

Post Content Indexing
  1. Uninstall the search/index nodes
  2. Uninstall the admin node
  3. Uninstall the websearch server
  4. Uncheck "Enable Content Indexing" on client computer properties - it's most likely enabled only on hosts where you have the Online CI agent installed, a compliance archiver, or File/Email Archiver agent installed (unless you've been indexing regular file system backups)
  5. If the CI cloud still exists in Storage Resources, delete it

Great, thank you for that.

If we Talk about Simpana v9.0

Then we need to wait om sp2a comes Out Half  of  May to Delete the CI Cloud in the Console (1 If the CI cloud still exists in Storage Resources, delete it)
I have the same Problem here at Fujitsu and Cv told that a Patch is in development.
