Are your auxiliary copies working? 
If data hasn't been copied from primary copy to any other active storage policy copies then cv will not age your data even if said data has met retention (exception: sp copy feeds from another copy that is not a primary, see BOL for details)

And unfortunately our CV is OEM-version from Dell and their support sucks big time with CV issues, so I think that I don't bother to open support ticket. Probably get better answers quicker from this group than from Dell's support.

Will need MediaAGent logs from MA connected to disk library to analyze. You can check to see CVMA.log for obvious errors. If this is Dedup enabled check SIDBPrune.log in addition for errors.
Also can you get the out put of following query


Use commserve
Select count(*) from MMDeletedAF
Select count(*) from MMDeletedAF where Status = 256
