Expired licenses

Expired licenses

I have an expired license. Used an eval copy. I have to use another
eval license until I get purchase some additional licenses. How to I
use another eval license on an agent without completely uninstalling
the agent? Any ideas?

Expired licenses

Reinstall is the only way. Unless you can get your CV rep to loan you
a permanent license for 30 days until you order

Expired licenses

You can't extend them once used without deleting the client from the GUI which will cause data loss on the reinstall, unless you back it up to tape, don't recycle the tape and use media explorer to catalogue and restore the data. Which is no fun. Perm license is the best route.

Expired licenses

I've had to do this in the past, all you have to do is deconfigure the client machine and then choose re-configure. That should use another eval license, assuming you have an eval left.
