Can commvault be used for file based replication between two sites of a nas storage system where users could control what files were replicated via include/exclude files?

Hi Paul,

I think this would only work with a server in front of both NAS storages at each site.
On these servers you will need to install a filesystem and also CDR agent.

From that point on you can control what should be replicated and excluded by creating replication pairs.
If users should control this proces they need to have sufficient rights at the Commserve GUI in order to set their own preferences.

There's also some option to create a kind of snapshots (Recovery Points) in order to get back to an earlier point in time.
