Post High Watermark
With 600 jobs per night, and now 5 media agents in production, I'm looking to find out anyone's experience in changing the high watermark of 200.

The commserve I will be moving to with my V9 upgrade next month will be a VM, so I can assign it whatever specs I need, should that be the bottleneck.

Does anyone run at a high watermark of 300 or higher? What has been your experience with that?

We have been using high watermark of 500 with no issues. It all depends on how many jobs the commserver configuration can handle and the number of media agents available to run the backups. Check with Commvault support to make sure jobmanager can handle the load.

Subramanian
