We are getting ready for our annual renewal of our CommVault licensing.
We are licensed for 3 DA-Active Directory.
However, we only have 1 installed one of our 3 AD DC's.
It is on the server that holds the FSMO roles. All 3 DC's are in our local site, All 3 are Global Catalog servers. All running Win2k3 Std. We have a single forest with a single domain.

Anyone know why I shouldn't drop the licenses for the other 2 that we are not using?

We used to be on Novell DS, and now on AD, and we've always only needed 1 license per tree. As far as a forest, I don't know if we even have one of those here, everything's on a single tree.
