Now we testing on using regular FS iDA backup and restore with system state.
But some problems/questions wanna ask, here's some information before raise my questions.
Testing environment
1. VM workstation with few different windows image (2k3, 2k8, XP)
2. Few physical server running Win2k3, 2k8, XP
Q1. When we restore from VM 2k3 to physical 2k3, the server cannot boot up but if V to V, P to P and P to V success and can be boot up. Is that use ESX server setting with Xeon CPU will fix this case? (Some friends said SSR can restore with different hardware without problem)
Q2. Is that FS iDA system restore cannot restore to different Windows version? (currently plan to keep different Windows VM for restore but if it can restore to different Windows will be great)
Q3. Any special agent design for P to V like VM converter? (1-Touch and FS iDA system restore not really fit for me, both take longer then VM converter)
