Preventing Windows FS client from indexing a drive

Post Preventing Windows FS client from indexing a drive
We have a Windows system we currently backup up with CV-v9. The client's
admin is moving a LARGE drive to his system ... it contains over 14M
files. At this time we do not plan to back it up. But even if I exclude
it with a Filter, I'm concerned that it will still be indexed when the
backups run. I thought I read a while back that there was a way (Reg
Hack ?) to prevent a drive from being seen by CV, but cannot recall the
details. Is this possible? Can anyone point me to the doc?

Post Preventing Windows FS client from indexing a drive
Hi George

If a volume is filtered the files on it will not be indexed by backup.
