Post qmedia command 
Hello, all!

I have had the unfortunate experience of having to condemn some 500+ pieces of media from my LTO4 library due to an oily contaminant diagnosed by my library vendor. I have exported all of the affected tapes and am in the process of marking them all bad within the Commcell. I am using a batch file to run the qmedia markbad command from a command prompt on the commserve machine. The process is working, but it taking FOREVER. The process is actually taking a few minutes per tape. At this rate it will be hours before the job is finished. Not a big deal, as I don't have to babysit the process, but I was wondering if anyone knows whether such slow command processing is expected behavior.

Thoughts?

This is not expected. Can you please escalate a tr with cv support. Is there an option to bulk select in the GUI.

Post qmedia command 
Unfortunately, I could not find a bulk select option in the GUI. I tried looking for such an option from several views to no avail. By the way, I am on 8.0 SP5. I will escalate to CV support.

I have had the unfortunate experience of having to condemn some 500+ pieces of media from my LTO4 library due to an oily contaminant diagnosed by my library vendor. I have exported all of the affected tapes and am in the process of marking them all bad within the Commcell. I am using a batch file to run the qmedia markbad command from a command prompt on the commserve machine. The process is working, but it taking FOREVER. The process is actually taking a few minutes per tape. At this rate it will be hours before the job is finished. Not a big deal, as I don't have to babysit the process, but I was wondering if anyone knows whether such slow command processing is expected behavior.
