Question about Restores and Copies.
Not sure if this will help, but in the Control Panel under the Browse Search Recovery section there's a checkbox that has Automatically switch copy to read data from any copy. Test that and see if it fixes it?

We have 2 MAs each with a locally-attached Maglib. We run our primary
copies to these Maglibs, then have Aux copies written to a Shared
Tapelib. We recently noticed that when a user submits a Restore request
when the MA with the Primary Copy is offline, the restore goes Pending
due to the primary copy being unavailable. The Restore request did not
specify a specific Copy or MA. I would have hoped that if the Primary
Copy is unavailable, but a secondary Copy is, that Commvault would
realize this, and use a secondary Copy which IS available to the other
MA. This does not seem to be the case. Has anyone else experienced this ?
