Is there a way to install a standalone administration console?
Or the web console is the only alternative?

There is a Commcell console GUI on Disk 1.

One of the great benefits of using it: If you don't patch it, you can access the "index checkpoints" feature (which they patched out of the GUI). This was a lifesaver for me because my WAN jobs are always starting over from 0% after a week if the job takes that long.

Yes, you can install the CommCell Console as a stand alone - just run setup/the install script from your installation media and select CommCell Console

Already Installed the QSM Module but says port 1165 is not listening but I dont have that port open on the server?
Any ideas? What is this port used for?

It is the Commcell Console what I need.
The thing is when I load cd 1 it shows up QSM options but I do not see an option for Commcell Console

It worked. I was using the wrong CD.
Now I have an administration console running on Windows XP.
