The (Unix) MA is not part of any failover/Gridstore config, so that should not be an issue. It seems that we simply designate a dir on a localdrive on the MA. Sounds easy enough, but I'm wondering:
Should we copy the existing IDX_Cache contents to the new unshared Cache? The Media generated by this MA is all offsite, so I'd prefer not to have to call back tapes to to rebuild the IDX for a restore.
Will CV know to age (delete) old entries in the Shared IDX_Cache on behalf of the MA which no longer participates?
Is there any way to determine which Shared IDX Cache entries were generated by this MA?
