I'm fairly new to simpana, so my experience with commvault isn't very deep. I,d like to hear other's opinions about when to apply patches, etc..It seems as though every time I apply update, something breaks!

When do you install updates?

Jim, I tend to only apply service packs when I run into a problem and telephone support tells me to install them. I agree with you that patches break more than they fix if you keep servers on auto-update.
