Upgrade from Simpana 8.x to 9.x
DBUpgrade tool in v9 requires v9 to be installed first... easiest way is to check out "Upgrade Assistance" in your maintenance advantage account, there's a section in there where you can upload your CommServe DR database dump and commvault will run a mock upgrade (automated script + DBUpgrade basically).
Has been quite handy before doing upgrades (have used it for v7->v8 and v8->v9)

I know there has probably been a lot of posts on this and of course there is the commvault documentation but is there any really good upgrade guides out there from upgrading from 8.x to 9.x?
