I have set the default scan type on my backup set to use the change journal. However, when I check the job details sometimes the scan type is shown as "mixed". This is for Windows 32-bit file system agent. It seems to be a random occurrence.
What exactly causes this and should I be worried that the backups aren't accurate? What exactly does "mixed" mean anyway?
