Hi,

Try:
savefs -D3 -s r2ln-mgt001 -N /UAT -g WeeklyFull /UAT for debug mode. Maybe
you will find something or put the output here...

Regards,

Tomas

Hi,

from my point of view it's looking like problem with GSS authentication.
RPC Authentication: Client failed to authenticate using GSS Legato

What version of legato are you using on backup server and client?
Try to disable GSS authentication and use only oldauth.
auth methods: "0.0.0.0/0,oldauth"; (you can setup this on backup server
nsradmin -p nsrexec -> NSRLA)

Please upload the error log from daemon.log(daemon.raw) from backup server.

Regards,

Tomas

Post 39077:save: error: - trying to debug a problem with savefs
I have a procedure that I got from EMC support for turning off strong
authentication you might try:

On the client:

nsradmin -p nsrexec
. type NSRLA
show auth methods
p
update auth methods: "0.0.0.0/0,oldauth"
y
p
quit

Then stop & restart Networker daemons/service
This worked for me when I had authentication...

Hi,

from my point of view it's looking like problem with GSS
authentication.
RPC Authentication: Client failed to authenticate using GSS Legato

What version of legato are you using on backup server and client?
Try to disable GSS authentication and use only oldauth.
auth methods: "0.0.0.0/0,oldauth"; (you can setup this on
backup server nsradmin -p nsrexec -> NSRLA)

Please upload the error log from daemon.log(daemon.raw) from
backup server.

Regards,

Tomas
