Post Backup status of running jobs
Any command like we use mminfo -q for getting the last backup information.

Is there a way we can go ahead and get the current status of jobs! running on a prticular client.

Any help is appreciated.

You can run the following to get a list of active sessions running....

echo "show session\n print type:nsr" | nsradmin -i- | wc -l

echo "show session\n print type:nsr" | nsradmin -i- | wc -l
29

It just gave me the number of sessions, however i would like the result a bit more precise, telling me about different backups, full or inc or whatever, some info abt backup sessions, And completion percentage, like in NMC

jobquery can show you all kinds of detail for active sessions, i.e.:

# echo "print type: session info; completed: 0" | jobquery -i -

In regard to: [Networker] Backup status of running jobs, ruhailmushtaqvakil...:

Bingo, could you please let me know the syntax for nsrwatch

If you have any UNIX or Linux clients (even the server itself) and you've
installed the "lgtoman" package, just do

man nsrwatch

If you don't, then you should download EMC document

300-011-695 "Command Reference Guide"

and search for "nsrwatch". It essentially provides, in PDF-format, all
of the man pages that are part of the "lgtoman" guide.

AFAIK nsrwatch has been provided from the very beginning for UNIX and later Linux.

For Windows, it has been silently introduced with NW 7.6.2
