Post backup weirdness
Hi all,

I've recently upgraded from 6.1.3 to 7.1.1 on Sun Storedge Enterprise
Backup (the sun branded legato networker). Everything seemed to go
fine, but we're seeing some weird things with the full backups of the
backup server.

A saveset will finish backing up, then immediately will start another
full backup. Eg:

09/27/04 09:44:20 nsrd: unix33.alpha.wehi.edu.au:/export/share/disk502
done saving to pool 'Default1000' (regular.1065) 554 GB
09/27/04 09:44:22 nsrd: unix33.alpha.wehi.edu.au:/export/share/disk502
saving to pool 'Default1000' (regular.1065)

The funny thing is, that it doesn't happen to every saveset on the
server, but only a few of them.

I checked the logs and found these messages, but I'm not sure if its
related to the problem:

09/26/04 13:31:12 nsrmmdbd: partial record error, ssid:2684940289
42e97264-00000006-a008f001-40a008f0-079d0000-c0a86121 flags:0x00010101
size:0 files:0 tm:05/11/04 08:57:52 05/11/04 08:57:52 7257600
09/27/04 14:31:00 nsrmmdbd: can't fetch old save set

Have I got a corrupted media database? Is there anything I can do to
stop networker from backing up a save set it has just finished backing
up?

Thanks,

Nick
