Hi All,

Has anyone been able to clone to a storage node device? We are running
NetWorker 7.2, on HPUX, with an IBM3584 library. In the Client setup we
have the Storage Node and Clone Storage Node attribute set to the storage
node device, but the cloning still goes to the server.

Hi,

The source tape is always loaded in a drive connected to the node
filled in "READ HOST" from the jukebox ressource.

The target device is searched, top-bottom, from clone storage node
attribute and based on your pool device affinity.

Be sure all of your SN/CSN are filled in also for the server resource
client.

I assume you have a separate pool of tapes for cloning.
You can restrict that pool with devices attached to particular storage
nodes (see pool settings for details).
