Hi all,
Our DPA Report for failed savesets from last day keeps sending us failed reports of (mostly windows boxes) savesets that failed once but auto retried and completed successfully - it still shows up as failed in the report even though everything was successful. Does anybody have a solution for correcting this?

Try rebooting your DPA server. Shut down DPA, clear its temp files, then reboot.

Thanks Stan, is there any other way? For our setup, we would require an outage to reboot that particular server...

Is it possible DPA is working as designed...? You did have a failure, it
identified that. But later you had a completion, it should report the
completion as well (as GREEN). Does it report the good completion too?

Hi Eddie,
This never happened before. It only started happening a few weeks ago. Even though it fails, retries and works, we only get the completed report emailed. Then when we get a list of a complete list of "failed save sets from the last day" it lists everything that was retried. ONLY from Windows servers. It does not show linux or unix servers.

What are the common factors and has anything changed?

Windows OS version?
Windows Client version?
DPA version?
Networker version?
