Post gstclreport problem
Hello,

We are using thye Sun EBS 7.4 variant of NetWorker. Since we've
installed Sun patch 124665-01, I.e. NetWorker 7.4 service pack 2, which
we needed for backing up some ZFS directories, we are having trouble
with the gstclreport program:

$ /opt/SUNWebsg/bin/gstclreport \

-v table \

-x csv \

-u administrator \

-r "Reports/Sun StorageTek EBS Backup Status/Group Summary by
Server" \

-f /var/tmp/output1.19067

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
javax/jnlp/BasicService

at
COM.legato.gwt.framework.LServiceProvider.loadTaskBars(LServiceProvider.
java:522)

at
COM.legato.gwt.framework.LCommandLineApp.<init>(LCommandLineApp.java:60)

at
COM.legato.gems.reports.CommandLineReport.<init>(CommandLineReport.java:
63)

at
COM.legato.gems.reports.CommandLineReport.main(CommandLineReport.java:53

Is this problem known to some one and how can it be solved?

Thanks for letting us know,

Carol.

Hi there,

I got the same problem after some Java updates on Windows environment.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: COM/legato/gems/reports/CommandLineReport
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: COM.legato.gems.reports.CommandLineReport
at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source)
at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
Could not find the main class: COM.legato.gems.reports.CommandLineReport. Program will exit.

We tried to rollback to previous version of Java, but gstclreport doesn't work so far.

Any tips?
Thanks in advance,

Roberto

Clean up Java cache for the JRE version you use (note that different versions have different cache). To clean cache, run
<JRE HOME>\bin>javaws -viewer

Hi Lena,

Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately, your workaround doesn't work.
I received the same error (with Networker 7.6sp1, Java 1.6.0_26):
"Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: COM/legato/gems/reports/CommandLineReport"
