NDMP License - cant get it back
We also get the same effect from deleting the client-id and re-adding it
then re-reading in the indexes via nsrck -L7... Make sure you write down
that client-id first though!
In case you need to free up a different kind of license...

We just added a second EMC NAS gateway and removed our old one. I had a

However, now Networker thinks the license is in use even though we only
have and need 1 NAS license and our temp license has expired. How can I
make NW use the license for the active NAS and yet no delete the
old client (in case of restores that might be needed). Thanks for any
help
out there.
We recently had to deal with the same issue. Here's one way that works (in
v7.4, at least):
In NMC under Configuration --> Registrations, make note of the Enabler and
Auth codes for your permanent NDMP license. Delete the license and then add
it back. This removes the association with a client. When you kick off a
new backup job for your new NAS gateway, it should pick this license up.
