Networker on Linux

Post Networker on Linux
Greetings to all,

I'm currently installing/setting up a new Intel server (Dell PE2850)
with 2x 3.0Ghz Intel Xeon Processors, 2Gb RAM and 72 Gb disk. The O/S
will be Red Hat ES 3.

Question is:

Which is better to use to parition/allocate these disk space to file
systems:
3x 36Gb configured as RAID 5

LVM or Fixed Disk?

Any Pros and Cons will greatly help.

thanks in advance,

Although this is a Networker discussion list, you should use Hardware RAID in
any chance you can get. LVM is nice, but takes away CPU power. With hardware
RAID you can usually grow your RAID array, but not kill your CPU. Best thing
is: Hardware RAID to create /dev/hd? devices, then use LVM to create the
partitions on top of the hardware RAID, so you can grow and shrink those.
