Backup Central

AIX 5.3 box.
Legato 7.4.5 installed
/nsr/logs/messages is not getting updated but backups are running.
What do I need to do in order to get this fixed?
daemon.raw is updating.....just not messages.
Please advise.

Has the file exceeded the maximum size for the OS?
Has the rule in /etc/syslog.conf been removed?

Look whether somebody changed your NW log notifications changed.

It not, i would check whether the syslog daemon is running. If so, a restart of the NetWorker services should be enough to cure the problem.
