A colleague of mine has run into a problem installing the NetWorker
7.1.3 client on
a server that's running Windows 2003 Standard Edition with Service pack
1. He
is doing the installation as the Administrator, yet he gets a window
with the
title "NetWorker Setup Error" that says

"Error 1920. Service NetWorker Remote Exec Service
(nsrexecd) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient
privileges to start system services."

Does anyone on this list have a solution to this problem?

Hi,

The administrator should have the privileges of a "Backup Operator".

If possible try rebooting the server.
