Question about Windows VM servers and backups

Post Question about Windows VM servers and backups
On Windows 2008, backing up VSS stuff cannot be disabled. Perhaps that is the source of the error you are seeing. Also, if you are running NetWorker 7.5.3 on those Windows 2008 clients, you should definitely do test restores because their may be some compatibility issues.

Post Question about Windows VM servers and backups
So I cannot ignore it by just specifying the drives I want backed up?

Post Question about Windows VM servers and backups
Not really. If you have Windows 2008 clients, you need to be running 7.6.2.x. It supports windows 2008 and the new 2008 VSS.
