Post Problem - NW 7.0 working Silo Storagetek 9310
Probably your \\.\TapeX logical device names do not match the physical
order of the devices in the jukebox.
Run the inventory command. It should list the S/N for each drive.
Then run the command sjisn scsidev < at > b.t.l where the b.t.l are the address
listed in the inquire for the jukebox.
The sjisn command will list the drives with their S/N by their physical
position in the jukebox.

Make sure that the logical matches the physical...

Itzik

Raquel,

Networker 7 has a new feature called CDI ( a new way to talk to scsi devices
a ) sometimes I found that extra translation by CDI created strangs
errormessages.

you could try to switch it off in the GUI:

Devices -> (device name) -> Edit -> Configuration -> CDI

change it to NOT USED and try again

hope fully the error message becomes more relevant that way.

You may need to contact Legato. I ran into problems with 7.1.1 and ACSLS
6.0.1. You will likely need to replace a couple Legato modules to work
correctly with ACSLS.

Hi Dale,

thank's for your reply.

But in Legato NetWorker 7.x Hardware Compatibility Guide, it's support.

:o/

Raquel,

I do not believe that ACSLS 6.x supports NetWorker 7.x
