Hi Brian,

Try to search for "reading" in your available daemon.logs.

I know this is probably a long shot but I thought I would go for it.
Does NetWorker store information on successful restores? My boss wants
me to compile a list of restores done and frankly I can't recall all
that information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Unfortunately, that is not a reliable indication of a successful
restore.

Hi Brian,
well, I did not say it is reliable indication but I saw no alternative.
And btw, since we use nw7.1.2 (solaris) I saw a lot of messages, notice, =

and errors, posted towards the daemon.log. All very detailed and comforta=

interprete, and I have at least the opinion that the output of networker=

daemon.log becomes more trusty.

The trouble is in what one regards as a "successful restore."
Also, for some types of clients, such as NDMP, the amount of
log information on restores is nearly non-existent.
