RPC Errors
Author Message
Post RPC Errors
I have a couple of clients that agre getting save:RPC error: Unable to send
and only seems to happen on the c:\ and everything else would complete with
no problems. I recreated the SERVERS file and un-installed and re-installed
the software.

Anyone have any ideas?

This is usually a DNS related problem. Host files on the client and
server usually fix it immediately.

It is not DNS in our case, I'm having the same problem as Ken and it
started about a month ago and the failure seem to be only on schedule FULL
backup. Once we recycle the Networker services on the client the backup
is fine for about 5 days or so.

We had this as long as I upgraded the server to 7.1.2, but not the
clients (which still had 7.1.1). After upgrading the clients as well,
everything was back to normal.
