Post running jbconfig reboots server
NT win2000 Legato version 6.2
Have you ever seen running jbconfig hangs and then reboots the server?!

gets to the first section where it asks you to select type of library
configuring.... option 2 auto detected SCSI device

then it hangs and the server reboots

any ideas!!

Thank you

Not exactly, but as I understand it, after you answer "2" for auto detected
SCSI device, jbconfig essentially runs inquire. We did have a problem on a
Solaris server where inquire caused a system reboot.

The culprit was lus.conf (/usr/kernel/drv/lus.conf on Solaris). It was
totally hosed, and once we got it replaced the problem was solved.
Unfortunately, I don't think this helps much with your Win2k installation,
but you might want to check if inquire also causes a reboot.
