NW7.1.1
Has anyone ever edited a schedule in nsradmin using an override?
I'm wondering if "full first thursday every quarter" is valid. If not,
is it possible?

Thanks

Yes, I have done that and what you have is valid.

That would be:

nsradmin> create type: NSR schedule; name: special; action: skip;
override: full last saturday every 12 months

That will create a schedule that will do a full backup on the last
Saturday of the year by virtue of the fact that every 12 months is
December.

(NetWorker months start counting at January, not when you create the schedule.)

Cheers,

-Preston.
