Post (Summary) jbconfig...drives not auto-configured 
Apparently, jbconfig works as designed, ie it will not auto-configure the
drives in your library. I'm sure it used to.
Our problem was compounded by the fact that one of our 8 drives was not
cabled back to the server. So, the library (STK L700e) thought it had 8
drives and the OS (Solaris) thought there were 7 drives.
I don't see how you can avoid using relem to make sure that you've
configured your drives and library correctly.
