Post Syntax for excluding directories from a backup
What is the syntax for excluding certain directories from a backup?

What to exclude the following from the backup of "/"

/tmp
/proc
/var/tmp
/var/run
/var/crash
/mnt

Believe need to add +skip: /tmp, etc lines to a directive

thanks

Your directive should look like that:

<< /tmp >>

Your directive should have an entry for each directory to exclude, e.g.

<< /tmp >>
+skip: .

Look at the Unix Standard Directive for more examples.
