Since they are both recent, I can understand your dilema. Generally, I
would recommened the 7.1.3 version rather than the 7.2 base on general
principal unless there is a specific feature in 7.2 that you need.
Version 7.1.3 is the 3rd patch level of the 7.1 series and as such
should be more stable than a new feature release.
The main features in 7.2 seem to be
(taken from
http://web1.legato.com/infodev/publications/NetWorker/UNIX/7.2/uxrs.pdf
)
1) New client config wizard
2) Better support for advanced file devices
3) Better support for NDMP including a rewrite of NDMP index processing
to use a LOT less memory
4) Better firewall support.

Hi,
=20
just checked at legato's dokumentation site . There are 2 new=20
versions, which are released inbetween 3 weeks: 7.2 from dec.
2004 and 7.1.3 from jan. 2005. I suppose that there's a difference=20
between them, for shure.
The question is, can anyone tell me WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE ??
