Virtual License question

Post Virtual License question
Does anyone on this list know of a way I can get a listing of all the virtual clients that I have defined without having to go to each client and open it up and check the properties. I am running Legato Networker 7.5.3 on Solaris 10. I know that you can use the nsrlic command and it gives you a listing of all the licenses and it lists all ESX servers that are using the Virtual client licenses. We have moved quite a few virtual servers and I wanted a way to clean them all up so I would know which ones could be removed without interfering with normal client licenses that we have. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope everyone has a great day.

I got this when I ran that command:

name: gs4;
enabler in use: Yes;

Is there a way to get the exact enabler being used? And which virtual server
it is licensed too? Thank you for the quick response. Is there a way to do
it in your reporting tool? I use it and it is very nice.

On your Networker server try:

nsrlic -v

This will show the Virtual Client Licenses for each physical server you've listed, and the virtual clients you specified that each server hosts.

Matt,

I'd use the following (on linux, so solaris will be identical) :

nsradmin <<EOF
show name
print type: nsr client; virtual client: yes
EOF

That will give you the list that you can then massage and count...
