=20Hi,
I wish to improve the performance on our backups by writing to more tape
drives during the backups.
We have 4 DLT4's with 3 clients (1 which is also the NW server). The
backup will only assign 1 drive per client during the backup. So even
when backing up only one client, we have 3 drives free. We have turned
on parallelism to 4 but that just seems to stream multiple file systems
to the 1 drive. Any ideas ?
Our config.
NW 7.1 server, 6.11 Clients.
Tru64 UNIX, with 3 Clients 4 tape drives to backup. But not all back up
at the same time.
Your help would be appreciated.
Thanks
