Hi All,


Have you ever experience Backup Schedule Status : Uncertain ?
Meanwhile, When I check the schedule log and activity log the related
schedule is completed successfully ?

That is probably where the event is so far back that it has fallen off the
event history.

Event Record Retention Period: 65 Day(s)

Use query stat to see your current setting.

Additionally, the last thing your client does is send the results to the
server, it is possible that the client was interrupted after the completion
of the backup but prior to sending the results. Generally the very next
time the client contacts the TSM server the results are sent.
It is unlikely this is your situation... it is more likely that the event
information has just been purged due to your event record retention period.

Hello Martin,

We have TSM backups that we schedule with TWS JSC. The ones that
crossover the TWS JSC new day show up with a status of "uncertain".

What happens is TWS loses track of what's going on with that job. In
other words, the backup is still going on, but TWS never gets a code
that "day" saying the job ended, either successfully of unsuccessfully.
Therefore it reports back what it knows. Which is nothing.
