Post backup USB drive to TSM
Hi,
I can backup USB drives to TSM using B/A client v6.1 for windows but B/A
client for Linux GUI does not list the mounted drive. Even using dsmc, I see
inconsistencies. Any idea?

Thanks

You don't say what the file system type is, which is the important piece of information. For example, Linux systems may or may not support NTFS: you can visually check for what your kernel is programmed for via 'ls /lib/modules/*/kernel/fs/'. And see "File system and ACL support" in the client manual for what file system types are documented as being supported.

You'r right. The filesystem is a 250GB NTFS which is mounted with read and
write permissions.

Hi,
TSM for Linux will not backup unknown filesystems such NTFS, BtrFS and EXT4
EXT4 and BtrFS will work better in TSM Client 6.2. But as a workaround you need to setup a VirtualFS for does partitions and then will TSM BA Client start back them up without any issues.
