Post Delete the last DBSnapshot
Hi Everyone,

I used to use database snapshots going to a file device class. I no
longer need/want to run database snapshots, but I cannot seem to delete
the last one. I also still run a database backup to tape, which I want to
keep. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this database snapshot so
that I can delete the file system from the TSM server?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Shawn,

Does the force=yes only apply to TSM version 5.5? I don't see that option
available for the delete volhist command. This TSM server is only at
5.3.5.2, but will be upgraded shortly to a supported version. Just let me
know either way and thanks for the syntax!!!

It is an undocumented option. I'm not sure which version of TSM it was
first available.

It is, it's never been documented (maybe to protect the innocent?) but
does work.
