Hi,
How can I force canceling a session? There is a session is "MediaW" and I am
going to cancel it. Actually the client is not accessing TSM server now, but
some minutes ago it was trying to backup something to tape and because tape
was not ready I killed the session with Control-C.
One way could be waiting for media mount timeout, I suppose. Would you
please help me?

Have you tried `CANCEL SESSION <SESSION_NUMBER>` from the TSM Server
administrative command line?

yes, it is done without any error, but sessions still exist

In my experience, you have to wait until the media mounts before the
session or process will end. As soon as the media mounts, the session
will then end. You could halt the server and restart the TSM server1
service (or reboot your server)
