Our Tivoli setup has gotten in a state where it seems that anything
trying to use the tape drives fails with an "insufficient mount points
available to satisfy the request" error message. For instance,
BACKUP DB TYPE=FULL DEVCLASS=LTODEV SCRATCH=YES
fails with
ANR4571E Database backup/restore terminated - insufficient number of
mount points available for removable media
Older threads about this have suggested redefining the drive paths,
which is what I've tried so far without success. We have a SERVER1 (TSM
5.3 running on a Redhat system) and SERVER2 (TSM 5.5 also on a Redhat
system), with a TS3500 tape library containing 4 LTO2 drives.
I can connect to the web interface on the tape library and e.g. run an
inventory command successfully.
Running 'q libr f=d', 'q drive f=d', and 'q path f=d' on SERVER1:
