Just cant change node attribute.
though no session with node ( q sess)

Why TSM server respond:
The object you are attempting to access is currently in use by another
session or process. Retry the action at a later time.

all tsm client process on node are stopped (dsmsta, dsmc sched)
no hangin process on ports tsm used
TSM serv W2K3 and client AIX. All v.5.5
How can i cancel session in other ways? (canc sess dont work in this case
because we dont have any number of sess for node)

If restart tsm server this trouble is gone but maybe somebody knows
alternative?

When posting messages, we need to know the message number: giving us
just the text deprives us of the ability to research the problem.
Also include the attempted command, so that we have a better sense of
the situation.

One thing I would check for is the presence of a Restartable Restore:
I would expect that to lock a filespace rather than a node, but
lacking full context, I can't be sure of your problem there. Do Query
Restore and check for that, first.

Hi Pavel,
I sow that last week on a TSM Server.
Do a "q restore" and "q sess". Normally there is something waiting for respond.
Then can you kill them and you can now update the node again.
